WBC Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0) was today found not guilty on misdemeanor charges that accused him of threatening a pair of security guards outside his Las Vegas home back in October of 2010.

Diana Sullivan, the Las Vegas Justice of the Peace ruled that she wasn’t convinced the two security guards, Aaron Ryan, and Miguel Burgos had feared for their safety and well being in the aftermath of their confrontation last year. The alleged altercation was over parking tickets that were issued to Mayweather. Ryan and Burgos had ticketed several vehicles owned by Mayweather that were parked near his Las Vegas home.

Mayweather, who was last seen in the ring defeating Victor Ortiz in September, had faced up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines.

Floyd will be back in court on November 4. He faces another misdemeanor charge, this time from another security guard that alleges he was poked in the face by Mayweather. It was another argument that stemmed from the security guard ticketing Mayweather’s vehicles. Floyd has pleaded not guilty on this particular case as well.

The most serious case Mayweather faces is a felony charge relating to a domestic dispute with an ex-girlfriend in October 2010. An evidence hearing has been set for December 21. Mayweather’s lawyers have denied any wrongdoing on Floyd’s behalf.

Mayweather spoke of his pending legal issues on HBO’s reality series “24/7: Mayweather/Ortiz.”

“As far as with the cases, I’m like, my mentality is like it’s always going to be, fuck it! It’s going to be what it’s going to be. If I’m innocent, leave me alone. If I’m guilty, do what you gotta do. It’s lies. Lies. Period.”

With the decision of Diana Sullivan today, Floyd may prove to be right.

“Once all is said and done, it’s bullshit,” continued Floyd on that particular episode of 24/7. “So what you do is go get the best team you can get. You go get the best team money can buy. Have I paid a lot of money on lawyer’s fees? Absolutely. Millions! But it comes with the territory. People money-hungry, what else can I say?”
