Oliver McCall Defending IBA Heavyweight Championship

CROWN BOXING INC. Las Vegas, NV, presents Oliver ‘Atomic Bull” McCall defending his IBA Heavyweight Continental Championship on October 23, 2009. McCall is challenged by Lance “Mount” Whitaker, WBC USBC Champion. These two giants will enter the ring with one goal in common. To leave the ring with the IBA Heavyweight Continental Title.

The winner of this Championship Belt will certainly have boxing opportunities and matchmaker Frank Luca of Crown Boxing Inc. looks to unify The World Title with its IBA Champion.

The four time World Champion Oliver McCall, doing his training in Florida, will be focused on the fight and hope to retain his IBA Title. Lance “Mount” Whitaker will enter the ring in his rob and trunks with no Halloween Costumes in mind! Whitaker has been working hard for this fight and sparring with some of the top fighters in Southern California and Las Vegas.

Both contestants will arrive in Las Vegas on Sunday October 18th at The Orleans Hotel and Casino and will resume training in Las Vegas. The press conference will be held Wednesday, October 21, at The Orleans Hotel and Casino. Al Bernstein the Official Host of Crown Boxing Inc. will be hosting the Press Conference and introducing the fighters. Al will be available for autographs and pictures. This is an event that you do not want to miss.

The night will also host the WBC USNBC Cruiser Weight Championship with “King” Arthur Williams defending his Championship Title against Victor Barragan from Oxnard, California. No early Halloween celebration for either fighter in this Title fight. Both fighters want to leave with the Title, but as we all know, two men enter the ring and only one man leaves with the Title.

The remaining seven bout undercard is full of excitement featuring the return of 100% Patrick Liles 7 wins (KO 7) going for his 8th win. Elijah McCall, son of Oliver McCall, Reggie Jackson, Brian Battease, Isaac Hidalgo, Juan Heraldez, Lawrence Hughes, Mike Gallegos, Ricardo Calzada, and Abram Young round out the remainder of the sensational Nacho De Boxeo Caliente.

Fights will be held at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in the Mardi Gras Ballroom,

Doors open 6pm / First bout 7pm.
