When you’re hot your hot, so in calling the Mayweather duck of Pacquiao from the get-go back in November 2009, get ready folks, the biggest duck of 2010 is going to happen next week. I can feel it already. Wladimir Klitschko has completely psyched out David Haye all the way to the point that no amount of money would be enough to lure him into the ring, not even the reported 50-50 purse split. David Haye knows what he’s up against and he knows he has no chance of survival.
David Haye is going to duck Wladimir Klitschko and will become the undisputed all-time greatest coward in heavyweight history. This will be an unprecedented achievement by one of the all-time great heavyweights. Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes – as great as they all were – were never so blatantly ducked by a challenger as Wladimir Klitschko has been ducked by Haye.
Ring observers should take this incredible fact into account as they evaluate the dominant reign of Wladimir Klitschko. He must be a whole lot better than he has been portrayed by virtually all of the boxing media.
And David Haye should consider just handing over his WBA belt to the real, true Heavyweight champion of the world. Perhaps Gilberto Mendoza will consider stripping Haye for conduct unbecoming of a so-called “champion.” Mendoza and the WBA could make a lot more revenues with Wladimir Klitschko wearing their belt, which he really won anyway by defeating Ruslan Chagaev.
