“I went back to the ‘drawing board,’ worked hard and now I’m blessed to be a part of this great event,” said Mora, “I don’t plan to let this opportunity get by me. On August 1, I’m coming to Brooklyn to win.”

George Groves and Team Sauerland hope to make an announcement in the coming days with regards to the date and location of the fight as negotiations continue.

Broadway Boxing Returns July 8th

On July 8th, DiBella Entertainment’s Broadway Boxing Series will return to the B.B. King Blue Club and Grill in midtown Manhattan with a 10-bout card.

Bryant “Peewee” Cruz (14-0) will headline the card as he puts his undefeated record on the line against Martin Cardona (19-5) in a junior lightweight matchup scheduled for eight rounds. Junior middleweight prospect Patrick Day (10-1) and undefeated Shawn Cameron (9-0) are also scheduled to compete on the undercard.

Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin Remains Undefeated

Star Boxing’s Cletus Seldin (17-0) remained undefeated on Friday night with a TKO victory over Ranee Ganoy (38-13-2) in the fourth round in a junior welterweight bout at the Paramount in Huntington before a packed house.

Seldin scored a knockdown in the second round and another knockdown in the fourth round before the referee stopped the bout.

“Once I got his timing down, I was able to land the hard punches,” said Seldin following another impressive performance. “That’s when I was able to drop him in the second round, and again in the fourth.”

Patrick Nielsen Retains WBA International Title

Patrick Nielsen (26-1) successfully defended his WBA International Super Middleweight title with a victory over Charles Adamu (23-7) at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen.

Nielsen was able to sweep the judges’ scorecards with scores of 120-108 on all three cards for Nielsen.

‘’I wanted the knockout, but he made it difficult for me’’ said Nielsen. ‘’I started strongly and shook him in the first round, but after that, he just wanted to survive.
