ARNAOUTIS DESTROYS ATHUMANI IN THIRD
The Pride of Greece, “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis (20-2-2, 10KO) knocked his opponent Nasser Athumani (20-7-2, 16KO) out cold in the third round of their scheduled ten round jr. welterweight contest.
Arnaoutis came out in the first two rounds looking to size up his opponent. As the third round started it was clear Arnaoutis was looking to press the action now as he began throwing hard straight left hands and right hooks to both the body and head. A huge left hand landed flush on the jaw of Athumani and sent him to the canvas flat on his back. Offcial time of the stoppage was 1:42 of the third round.

“KINGPIN” KEEPS PROMISE AND GETS RID OF SELDON
Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson (20-0-1, 7KO) did not disappoint as he knocked former world heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon (38-7, 34KO) out at 2:28 of the 5th round of their scheduled ten round heavyweight contest.
Johnson was adamant before the fight stating that he would not only use his jab and box but go right after Seldon. In the first round it was clear Johnson wanted to feel Seldon out as he let Seldon press forward. From that point on though it was Johnson who was looking to exchange as he chose to fight Seldon in the center of the ring. Johnson began unloading huge straight right hands and right crosses that immediately began to take their mark on Seldon’s face. In the third round Johnson dropped Seldon with a big right hand. Seldon got up but took a severe beating for the rest of the round as Johnson landed seemingly at will. In the 5th round with Seldon trying to press forward a huge right cross landed right on the button and put Seldon down hard. The referee had seen enough at this point as Seldon was starting to take a lot of punishment and called a halt to the contest.

RAY ROBINSON PASSES TOUGH TEST REMAINS UNBEATEN
Philadelphia’s “The New” Ray Robinson improved his record to 9-0, 3KO with a impressive but tough fight against Eberto Medina (5-4, 1KO). Medina came to fight and would not quit but Robinson seemed to just be on a different level. Robinson showed tremendous hand speed and good defensive skills as he would land three and four punch combinations and then move away as his opponent tried to counter. Robinson dropped Medina with a straight left hand just as the bell sounded to end the fight. Medina got up but looked to be in bad shape. Robinson showed tremendous poise and looked very impressive in his first scheduled six rounder.
RILEY DOMINATES ONCE AGAIN
Rising light heavyweight Yathomas Riley (3- 0,2KO) dropped his opponent three times en route to a dominating four round unanimous decision over Zeferino Albino (3-8-2, 1KO). Riley had his opponent reeling throughout as he landed left hand bombs to the head of his opponent dropping him twice in the first and once more in the second. As did Robinson, Riley landed a huge left hand that rocked his opponent just as the bell sounded to end the fight. Even though it was only his third fight Riley seems to have all the skills and potential to become a future world champion in the light heavyweight division.
