Bizarre Tragedy Strikes Tyson’ Daughter

The 4-year-old daughter of former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson died at an Arizona hospital Tuesday, a day after her neck accidentally somehow

The 4-year-old daughter of former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson died at an Arizona hospital Tuesday, a day after her neck accidentally somehow got caught in a treadmill cord in the house she lived in with her mother and siblings.

Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead just before noon Tuesday, after being on life-support since the tragic accident occurred on Monday.

The Phoenix Police Dept. said Exodus either “slipped or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under the console.” Exodus Tyson was discovered by a seven-year-old brother who found her in peril, then told their mother. The mother took Exodus off the cord, called 911 and desperately attempted to revive the unconscious child. Police officers and firefighters performed CPR on the stricken girl en route to the hospital.

Mike Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and immediately flew on Monday to Phoenix and was at Exodus’s bedside when she passed away.

BoxingInsider.com extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to Mike Tyson and his family at this most difficult time. Rest in peace Exodus Tyson.
