SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING World Title Doubleheader

From Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

NEW YORK (June 3, 2008) – In front of a large and cheering crowd at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., Vernon Forrest weighed in at 153 取 pounds, Sergio Mora tipped the scales at 154 pounds, Carlos Quintana measured 146 pounds and Paul Williams weighed in at 145 取 pounds.

This Saturday, SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING will present a world championship doubleheader as Forrest defends his WBC super welterweight title against Mora, while Quintana looks to defend his newly acquired WBO welterweight belt against the boxer he dethroned, previously unbeaten Williams live at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast).

The event is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions, LLC, and Fight Nite, LLC, in association with Tournament of Contenders, LLC, DiBella Entertainment and Goossen Tutor Promotions in association with Northeast Promotions. It will emanate from Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
