HBO will air Klitschko, the excellent documentary on the careers of world heavyweight champions Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, before its coverage of Vitali’s WBC title defense against Manuel Charr on September 8.
ESPN.com reports that the critically praised film (see our review here) will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time.
While Vitali prepares for Charr, his younger brother and fellow world champion Wladimir (58-3, 51 KOs) is waiting on the camp of Polish giant Mariusz Wach (27-0, 15 KOs) to agree to terms for a fight on Nov. 10 in Hamburg, Germany.
Bernd Boente, manager of the brothers’ K2 promotional company, tells ESPN that, “I don’t expect big problems [with the contract], but in this business you never know.”
