Boxinginsider.com: “(Shawn) Porter said that if it wasn’t for the catchweight (144lbs) you wouldn’t fight him. You wouldn’t step into the ring with him at the full 147lbs? (Welterweight)”

Adrien Broner: “How can you say that? It’s okay, it’s Okay. I’ve been in the ring with him when he weighed over 160lbs” (Porter and Broner have done sparring together in the past)

Boxinginsider.com: “Tell us about this new found relationship in your former adversary in (Marcos) Chino Maidana?”

Adrien Broner: “Oh man, that’s my homie. I’ll party with Chino any day. He’s a good guy”

Boxinginsider.com: “(Oscar) De La Hoya has stated not a day passes by where he doesn’t think about fighting again. How would you fair against an unretired Golden Boy?”

Adrien Broner: “Ain’t nobody worry about no f*cking retired Boxer! Ain’t nobody worried about no retired Boxer and I ain’t with no f*cking Golden Boy. (promotions)”

Adrien made the following comments at the press conference:

“I’m very blessed to be here. I’ve been through some things that would say I shouldn’t have been here today, but now I’m one of the biggest names in boxing.”

“This is a big fight because Adrien Broner is on the card. No disrespect to Shawn and Kenny, but I’m coming to win and I’m going to win.”

“Even if it’s a hard fight, I’m going to win this fight. They say he’s strong, they say he comes like a bulldozer. Whatever they bring to the table on June 20, I’m ready. ”

“I’m going to be the most powerful fighter on June 20th and definitely the prettiest fighter on June 20. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.”
