Jones Ready To Step In For Haye & Fight Klitschko!

A world champion by the name of Jones is ready, willing and able to step in to challenge IBF-WBO

A world champion by the name of Jones is ready, willing and able to step in to challenge IBF-WBO Heavyweight kingpin Wladimir Klitschko, now that David Haye is having second, third and fourth thoughts about whether he really has what it takes to get the job done in boxing’s glamour division.

Guillermo Jones, the WBA Cruiserweight champion, welcomes the opportunity to face any heavyweight champ, including Klitschko.

“I think Guillermo can beat either Klitschko,” says Colin Morgan, the trainer of Jones. “Guillermo Jones could beat any of the big guys. He has middleweight speed and he never stops punching. The bigger guys cannot handle that pace. I think he can really take on the big guys – Chagaev, the Giant or either Klitschko. Even all the heavyweights at camp, Ray Austin (included), Guillermo beat the **** out of them.”

Jones won the WBA Cruiserweight title last year by halting German-based Firat Arslan in Germany. Morgan says Jones is also interested in a unification match with Tomasz Adamek.
