Pacquiao Calls Smith & Atlas “Liars For Life”

In the new article of Manny Pacquiao at Pacland site today titled “Guilty Until Proven Innocent”, Manny Pacquiao challenged New York Daily News columnist Tim Smith and ESPN television network commenator Teddy Atlas, as well as the giant sports network ESPN to show proof of evidence – for justice and truth’s sake. If they still have respect for themselves, and have real professional etiquette, then they must show evidence. Then, if they can’t show evidence, I will call them liars for life.

Manny Pacquiao said that he is dismayed about the kind of journalism today, few have the freedom to make statements or report things without basis, and this happened in America.
Pacquiao said he was not contacted by either of the two journalists Smith or Atlas with their big networks, so that he could give his position and opinion because he is involved primarily on the issues and defend his side with these false accusation.

Pacquiao continued that for the sake of fairness and equality in journalism, Teddy Atlas and Tim Smith should be reporting responsibly with facts and evidence and not reporting irresponsible kind of journalism and irresponsible people can not be tolerated.

Pacquiao has ordered his people and camp not to further make comment or make a statement on the issue because it is now in the court. But, for some clarification he is willing to be contacted and make a statement by himself especially with the giant sports network, like ESPN and Daily News.

The pound for pound number one just came from a vacation in the beautiful island of Samal, in Davao City, Philippines with his family celebrating the birthday of his wife Jinky. He is now getting ready for his trip in the United States in a few days to train for his fight against Joshua Clottey.
