Heavyweight contenders Tomasz Adamek and Michael Grant engaged in an interesting but non-malicious staredown at Wednesday’s press conference. Adamek is all business, with a dead serious look in his eyes while Grant was in more of a jovial mood, engaging Adamek in some face to face conversation. Trash talking? Tough talk? No. I asked Grant later and he told me he was inquiring about the Adamek family and how they were, the two exchanged pleasantries while at the same time looking into the windows of each other’s souls for any last minute clues or edges which they will try to use against the other on Saturday night inside the ring at the Prudential Center.
