Results and Photos: Havoc Boxing In Brooklyn

Saturday evening Havoc Promotions put on a fight card that was truly entertaining, fast paced and loaded with talent. Six of the eight fights on the card were six round bouts which the lively crowd enjoyed, cheering for their favorites at Aviator Hall in Brooklyn, New York.

In a fight with many powerful exchanges Angel Cruz of Juamadiaz, Puerto Rico out pointed Yonathan Arias who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros. This bantamwieght contest was one of the best fight of the evening, lots of combination punches from both fighters.

Arthur Medina of Ft. Collins, Colorado lost to a strong Tommy “Razor” Rainone, a local favorite. Medina just didn’t have enough to hold off Rainone, who moved to 13 -4.

Noel Garcia and Frank “Macho” Galarza battled in a Junior Middleweight fight that saw Galarza victorious with a unanimous decision. This six round bout was a crowd pleaser.

Jose Mario Flores who lives in Washington, DC faced Ramadan “Holy Man” Yasser in a 4 round Heavyweight contest which saw Yassar mugging and clowning, frustrating the game Flores who now is 1 – 1.

In a 6 round Featherweight bout Felipe Almanza of Lorica, Columbia was defeated by a quick handed Leon Moore of Brooklyn. Almanza drops to 18 – 23.

Ramesis Gil who hails from San Juan, PR. gamely fought a superior Mark Davis of Cleveland, Ohio in a 6 round Junior Lightweight bout.

Joel Castillo, who lives and trains in the Bronx took out Billy Ray Cunningham with a heavy overhand right early in the first round to end the fesivities.
