Marvin Hagler.

Hagler vs. Sugar Ray Leonard.

Chicken and pasta for carbs, and water or Gatorade.

What do you do to relax:

Fishing and playing with my daughter.

None.

What training do you do between fights:

I’m always doing something to stay in good shape – roadwork and continuing to do shake-out stuff.

Typical Breakfast:

Cereal, Shredded Mini-Wheats is my favourite, and sometimes eggs.

Toughest Part of Being A Boxer:

Dealing with popularity.

Favorite Music:

Hip-Hop and R & B.

1994 Chevy Silverado.

Where do you train:

Tallahassee Fighting Tigers Boxing Gym.

Training Routine:

Short run, on a machine called The Rack, speed and heavy bags, shadow boxing, hit the mitts and some sparring.

Toughest Man Faced

: Clinton Woods. He was sharp and came to fight

If you weren’t a boxer what would you be: Probably with a lot of company and a permanent roommate – in prison like a lot of guys I grew up with.

Last Vacation:

Daytona, FL.

Favorite Football Team:

I don’t follow soccer but I like David Beckham. In the NFL I like the Green Bay Packers.

Greatest Sports Moment:

Winning the IBF title fight (vs. Woods in 2009).”

I don’t feel pain.

Butter pecan.

Funny Boxing Memory:

After amateur fights we’d always go out for breakfast the next day before driving back to Tallahassee. This time, though, everybody lost so our coach was real mad. He just stopped at a store and got two packs of baloney and a loaf of bread. That’s what we ate in the van going home. It wasn’t funny then but it is now.

Losing my first fight as an amateur.

Cutting wood with my Uncle Skeeter.

ESPN, shows on HBO, House of Payne and reality shows like Jersey Shore.

I’ve been called The Body Snatcher, Beatdown Cloud, and Cloud Nine.

Resiliency and humbleness the most. Character and integrity, too.
