EPIX, the premium entertainment channel, video-on-demand and online service, brings heavyweight championship boxing back to the American airwaves when WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko defends the coveted crown against #1 ranked challenger Odlanier Solis March 19, 2011 on the EPIX channel and on EpixHD.com LIVE at 6:00 pm ET, followed by a replay at 10:00pm ET.
Klitschko vs. Solis will originate from the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, which sold out in minutes after tickets went on sale in January. Klitschko, who sports a record of 41 wins and 2 losses, with 38 wins coming by way of knockout, will be making the eighth defense of his crown, and his seventh since 2008 when he ended a four year hiatus from the ring. Along with his young sibling, Wladimir, the Klitschko brothers are world renowned as being the premiere forces in the heavyweight division.

Klitschko vs. Solis marks the first boxing event televised on EPIX, and the first time a Klitschko bout has aired live on American television since 2009.
