Floyd Mayweather’s Home Reportedly Robbed

By: Sean Crose

Floyd Mayweather, fresh off a successful exhibition bout against social media star Logan Paul, has taken to Instagram to declare that his Las Vegas home had been robbed. Although the 50-0 fighter didn’t elaborate, Mayweather referred to handbags and other valuable items that had been swiped. He also offered a one hundred thousand dollar reward to those who help lead to the retrieval of his stolen property. Mayweather made it clear in his statement that no one deserves to feel victimized in their own home and that the theft indicates a complete lack of respect.

The former pound for pound great, who officially retired in 2017 after besting UFC star Conor McGregor, has taken to performing in exhibition bouts, like last weekend’s against Paul and has generally remained in the public eye. Known by the nickname Money, Mayweather is nearly as famous for his vast earnings and lavish lifestyle as he is for his inside the ring exploits. Needless to say the 44 year old is widely regarded as the best boxer of his generation.

“The level of disrespect and greed it takes for someone to do this is unfathomable,” he claims in the Instagram post. Boxing Insider will keep readers up to date on this story as details continue to unfold.
